Ginger's Story


 

In August of 2013, after suffering from chronic wheat allergy symptoms since I was ten years old (I have a wheat allergy condition called Wheat-Dependent Exercise-Induced Anaphylaxis, or WDEIA), I made a lifetime commitment to eliminate all traces of wheat from my diet, and maintain a strict gluten-free lifestyle. No wheat, barley, rye... and for me, even gluten-free oats are off-limits, as I discovered symptoms continued even with GF oats. How daunting! Preparing delicious foods for my family has always been my passion; but gluten-free cooking and baking can be quite the challenge. My goal has always been to create wholesome foods that tantalize the palate and 'wow' even my most skeptical critics- my family. After many tasty experiments, I nailed it, and my family and friends agreed. My gluten-free confections are so delectable and so delicious, you may just forget you are gluten-free. My goal is to always make gluten-free baking look like a piece of cake!
