F.A.Q. Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located? I am a licensed home baker located at 633 Perkinswood Blvd NE Warren, Ohio 44483. Please text the bakery with any questions at 234.249.7427. 

Can I come and visit your bakery to buy items right now? I'm sorry, no. All items are baked fresh-to-order with at least 2 business days' notice, and all pick-ups are by appointment. I do not keep an inventory for drop-in customers or last-minute requests. This is my policy so that all items received are baked fresh the day you receive them. I am passionate about fresh baked goods, because I believe it is especially important with gluten-free items. 

How do I order? Please place your order right through this website, and special orders (such as custom cakes) are done by a process described here

Do you have vegan/dairy-free/egg-free items? Yes, I have many items on the menu. However, I do use smallwares with items that contain milk and eggs, and other animal products (such as gelatin and marshmallows, which are not vegan) More information here.

Do you have sugar-free, low sugar, or keto baked goods? Sorry, no. In the past I had a limited keto menu, but I rarely received requests for them so that menu was discontinued, and I no longer keep an inventory of the specialty ingredients needed. 

Are your items peanut and/or tree nut-free? I have many recipes that do not contain peanuts or tree nuts, but I do use common smallwares with items that contain them. More information here.

What do you do to ensure items are gluten-free? I go to great lengths to protect my baked goods from all traces of gluten, from choosing gluten-free ingredients, to following a strict preparation protocol, and packaging so there is no risk of cross-contamination. I discuss this at length here.

I have a wedding coming up. How can I receive more information on a wedding cake? First, congratulations! Second, please complete the wedding cake questionnaire found on this page and I will reach out to you as soon as possible. 

How do I pick up an order? It's so easy! Simply place your order and schedule your pick-up using the link provided on the order confirmation page after your order is placed. Directions are also provided when your pick-up date and time are chosen. More information here.

When are you at farmers markets?  I am no longer at farmers markets because my bakery has grown to the point that it is no longer practical. Instead, I do fast and easy driveway pickups 5 days a week- you don't even have to get out of your car, and in most cases, you pull in and have your items brought to your car within two minutes! I also offer Single Serving Saturdays, which is a special weekly menu I do in addition to my regular menu. These items are packaged in single servings, as they were when we were at farmers markets, and are available only on Saturdays.
